QCQC’s goal is to achieve consistent client satisfaction on construction projects by integrating the fundamental principles of construction project management with leading-edge cost management techniques backed up by ongoing research in the built environment. RAYMOND NKADO
Managing Director
Professor Nkado graduated BScHons (Quantity Surveying) First Class in 1985 at Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, Nigeria; MSc (construction management) in 1988 at ABU and PhD (construction management) in 1991 at the University of Reading, UK, specialising in modelling construction time for fast-track commercial buildings. In June 2000, Professor Nkado graduated MBA cum laude at the Wits Business School.

Irene graduated BScHons (Food Science and Brewing) in 1987 at Anambra State University of Technology (ASUTECH). She subsequently worked as a trainee quality controller, Food Specialty Nigeria Limited, Lagos, part of the Nestlé Group (1989 – 1990); production manager, Emmanson International, Lagos, Nigeria (1990); catering officer, Sutcliff Catering Services, Reading, UK (1991); and catering assistant, Travellers Fair, Reading Railway Station, Reading, UK (1991 – 1992).
ABOUT QCQS
QCQS is a Value Adding Level 1 BBBEE contributor. The practice specialises in the full range of quantity surveying and research-led management consulting services in the built environment. The competence invested in the practice includes comprehensive commercial view of construction projects spanning local and global business environments.
The practice places major emphasis on economic sensitivity analysis and interpretation, innovative problem solving in project assessment and design evaluation, and delivery in the fast track project environment of the 21st century.

The mission of QCQS is to meet clients’ anticipated financial and built environment asset objectives with positive post-project delivery experiences.
